Intimacy at Scale
Three hundred guests is the largest number at which an event can still behave like a gathering rather than a production. Every person in the room is somebody you invited on purpose. Nobody is there because a table needed filling. And crucially, from any seat in a properly proportioned room, the head table is something you look at rather than something you locate.
That last point is the one worth protecting, and it is the one most often lost. Three hundred guests placed inside a hall built for nine hundred lose it immediately: the front third of the room gets the event, and the back two thirds get a view of the front third. The tables at the rear are far enough back that speeches arrive through speakers, the cake cutting is a rumour, and the couple or the honouree is a shape in the distance.
Ibiza B is the smaller division of Palacio's Ibiza Grand Ballroom, seating up to 300. It keeps the flagship room's contemporary design and its high-ceiling character while giving a three-hundred-guest event a footprint that fits it. The room reads full at your count, which is the difference between an evening that has energy from the first hour and one that spends two hours trying to find it.
Why Three Hundred Works Here
None of these are amenities. They are consequences of holding three hundred people in a space proportioned for three hundred people.
Ibiza B's published seated capacity is 300. Booked at or near that figure, the floor plan is dense rather than scattered, and the room looks the way you pictured it from the moment the first guests walk in.
Thirty tables arrange into a handful of rows rather than a field of them. Speeches land as speech rather than amplification, and guests at the far tables watch the head table directly instead of glancing at a screen.
As part of the Ibiza Grand Ballroom, Ibiza B carries the same elevated ceiling feel and the same contemporary finish. You get the vertical room that decor and lighting need, without the horizontal emptiness that comes with an oversized hall.
Thirty tables is a service a kitchen can run cleanly, so a plated multi-course dinner remains straightforward. In-house menus cover South Asian, Gujarati pure-vegetarian, Pakistani Halal, European, Caribbean and Middle Eastern, and an outside catering arrangement is available.
Dance floors fill by proximity as much as by playlist. When the furthest table is a short walk away rather than a crossing, people get up sooner and stay up longer, and the evening does not need rescuing at ten o'clock.
Arriba seats up to 140 on the second floor with natural light for a next-day brunch or a smaller family function, and if the list outgrows Ibiza B, Ibiza A takes it to 450 within the same ballroom.
Table Maths
The same three hundred people occupy very different floor plans depending on the table size you choose.

The Evening
The tone of a three-hundred-guest event is set before dinner. With this many people, a reception can be genuinely social — guests find the people they came to see rather than joining a queue and hoping. By the time doors open, most of the room has already spoken to somebody, and the seating shuffle takes minutes rather than a quarter of an hour.
Dinner across thirty tables gives a kitchen a service it can hold to time, which in turn gives you a schedule that survives contact with the evening. Speeches sit comfortably between courses. The room stays quiet enough to hear them and close enough to react to them, and reaction is what makes a speech work — a joke that lands at table three and dies at table twenty-eight is a room problem, not a writing problem.
A dedicated coordinator is assigned to the booking, a complimentary bridal suite is available for wedding parties, and custom lighting and decor packages can be arranged. At this scale those things are noticeable in a way they are not at nine hundred, where the machinery of a large event necessarily takes over from the details.

Questions
No, but it is too small for the wrong ballroom. Three hundred guests in a hall built for nine hundred will look and sound like a poorly attended event, however good everything else is. Three hundred guests in Ibiza B, which is published at 300 seated, fills the floor properly. The capacity figure matters less than the ratio between your count and it.
Thirty rounds of ten, twenty-five rounds of twelve, or thirty-seven rounds of eight with a final table of four. Twelve to a table frees up floor for a larger dance area but tightens each setting; eight is generous at the table and consumes more of the room. Ten is the balanced default for a reason.
Raise it with the coordinator as soon as the trend is clear. Ibiza A, the larger division of the same ballroom, is published at 450 seated, so a list that overshoots can move up without changing venue or date. What causes trouble is a count that grows quietly and is only reconciled once the seating chart is printed.
Yes, and thirty tables is close to the ideal size for it. Service stays tight, courses come out together, and the gaps between them are short enough that the room does not lose momentum. Menus available in-house include South Asian, Gujarati pure-vegetarian, Pakistani Halal, European, Caribbean and Middle Eastern, and you can bring your own caterer instead.
Two hundred and sixty in a room published at three hundred still reads as full — you are at roughly eighty-seven percent of capacity, and the visible difference is a couple of tables. Your coordinator will rework the floor plan so the removed tables come out of the plan evenly rather than leaving a gap along one wall.
The venue is at 3410 Semenyk Court, Mississauga, ON L5C 4P8, a 30,000 square foot event centre with four spaces from 140 up to 900 guests. Call 905-949-0555 or submit an enquiry with your date and count, and the events team will confirm whether Ibiza B is available.
